Smiling for Smiddy – The Long Road

Smiling for Smiddy ‘The Long Road’ is a documentary recording the journey of more than 60 bicycle riders who rode from Brisbane to Townsville in September 2010 to raise money for cancer research.

The documentary went on to air on WIN Television throughout Queensland and attracted an audience reach of 40,734, scoring the second highest ratings for its time slot, with the AFL taking out the prime ratings only marginally.

Multiple sell-out screenings have also been held across Queensland including special showings at the Brisbane Schonell Theatre.
