Mooloolaba icons The Wharf Mooloolaba and SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast are celebrating turning 30 in August with a huge weekend party with heaps of family fun.
Wharf Mooloolaba co-owner Dirk Long said it has been a very big few years for the precinct, so they are looking forward to everyone coming together to relax and enjoy activities over the weekend of the 24th and 25th of August.
SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Regional General Manager Quinn Clarke said the celebration would be like the precinct’s Family Fun Days with the addition of plenty of special festivities to mark the momentous occasion.
“There will be heaps of great activities as well as a surprise or two!
“Free family activities will include face painting, reptile display, a huge jumping castle and super slide.
“We will also have discounted tickets to SEA LIFE and there will be opportunities to try water activities in the river with Sunreef Mooloolaba, free river cruises with Coastal Cruises Mooloolaba and sailing with the Mooloolaba Yacht Club.

The Wharf Mooloolaba Managing Director Dirk Long said the Family Fun Days were a way for The Wharf & SEA LIFE to give back to the local community who have been supporting the precinct during the past two years of renovation and construction.
Built by Buderim Men’s Shed member Mick Harman, the contribution of time and skill is the latest of Buderim’s tradition of a living memorial, where, rather than having a monument or statue, locals participate in acts of community service.
The Wharf Mooloolaba co-owner Dirk Long said the Fashion on the Wharf would showcase the great fashion, accessories and homewares available at the precinct’s four boutiques – Bedouin Traders, Gingers Boutique, Meraki Thread Co and Mikimi Resortwear.
The latest new eatery at what is once again the place to be on the Sunshine Coast, Spero will offer an authentic Greek dining experience.
