Reality weight loss TV programs are giving people a false expectation about weight loss in real life according to Annette Sym, Australia’s best-selling low-fat cookbook author.
“There is no doubt reality weight loss programs such as the Biggest Loser serve as a good form of entertainment, but I don’t believe they should be considered a realistic way to lose weight or maintain a healthy lifestyle”, Annette, who lost more than 35kg and has maintained a healthy weight for more than 16 years, said.
