The fourth annual Buderim Foundation Youth in Philanthropy Project was launched on Friday 28th February at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Buderim Foundation Youth Committee Chair Graham Tamblyn said the Project offers a mentoring program to introduce the concept of philanthropy to young people in our region.

“We want to demonstrate the value that philanthropy has and inspire young people to adopt it throughout their lives,” Mr Tamblyn said.

Gingers Boutique owner Suzanne Mailey said the parade would feature a palette of bright colours, feminine florals as well as gorgeous fabrics like linens and silks.
The event on Sunday 22nd September, organised by Bli Bli Neighbourhood Watch and Bli Bli Little Athletics, attracted 411 participants and raised an enormous $20,606.19.

Already the teachers and students at Good Samaritan Catholic College at Bli Bli have taken up the challenge and are putting together a team of more than 50!
The Dock Mooloolaba’s Jared Hart said he and musician John Veloso said they had both been thinking about doing some fundraising for local causes, so they decided to join forces.
