Sustainable Partnerships Australia encourages students to take the Culinary Challenge

Year 10 students from across the Sunshine Coast will come together this Friday 20th June, to showcase their Culinary skills at the Queensland Junior Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge.

Buderim Foundation opens Community Grant Applications for 2014

The Buderim Foundation is pleased to announce that for the seventh year running, the total funding for its Community Grants Program has reached a new record high and applications are now open.

Chair of The Buderim Foundation, Professor Paul Clark said thanks to the generous support of Buderim residents and sound investments, the Foundation had almost $60,000 in funding available for 2014.

Australian crochet designer joins 5000 Poppies Project

As part of the 2015 Anzac commemoration, the 5000 Poppies project will be “planting” a field of more than 5000 poppies in Federation Square Melbourne.

The 5000 poppies project has been created to commemorate more than a century of service from Australian men and women in war, conflicts and peacemaking operations.

Australian crochet expert, Jenny King said as soon as she heard about the project she had to get involved.
