The fifth annual Sunshine Coast Real Food Festival will host an impressive line up of chefs celebrating Coast produce in an array of international styles on September 12 & 13.
Just one of those chefs is the force behind Brisbane’s Moda Restaurant and Moda Events Portside, Javier Codina. Award-winning and a leader in the food industry, Javier uses a lot of Sunshine Coast food at his restaurants where his inspired, inventive dishes capture the essence of his cultural influences – Catalan, French and Italian – meshed with his professional expertise and the freshest local produce.

“We are so excited,” Sunreef Whale Encounter supervisor Dan Hart said. “The team is already out doing trials and training ready for the start of the season – its such an awesome experience we just can’t wait to start sharing it with people again this year.”
The Buderim Foundation is pleased to announce for the eighth consecutive year, a record amount of funding will be spent on projects benefiting the Buderim community. The 2015 Community Grants Program provides grants to eligible community groups that provide services to residents within the 4556 postcode.

The new venue, “Eat My Words” will have a focus on food writing, food bloggers, cookbook authors and restaurant reviewers.
